So I put in my temp this morning, which was 97.33 (below my original coverline). I was super bummed because we're most likely out another cycle with a temp that low. But when I entered my temp this morning, a message popped up saying that based on this temperature, FF moved my ovulation day back to day ELEVEN and dropped my coverline from 97.43 to 97.15, and now it says that I am 16 dpo and that I should test.
I don't know whether to be really excited or really confused.
How can my ovulation day be a WEEK earlier than previous charts?
I guess I'll be testing at lunch......maybe.
Hello world!
I've had that happen. GL!
ReplyDeleteYou ARE going to test at lunch and I expect a text! :)
ReplyDeleteDid you test yet? Did you? I'm on tenterhooks, here!
ReplyDeleteI decided not to test until tomorrow...I couldn't pee at lunch, I was too nervous! I still am not totally convinced that FF didn't completely screw things up, so I was due to test tomorrow morning anyway. I just have to make it til then!!! AHHHHHH!
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, totally on pins and needles for you. Everything crossed that FF got it right!!
ReplyDeleteGidget, looking at your chart I realize that I have NO IDEA hoe FF decides on an o-day. Does it make any sense? What's the formula? What's the algorithm? Why did it put your coverline below most of your pre-o temps? Why not put the o-day on day 10 (the day of the temp dip?). It all makes my head swim!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is doing, I fervently hope it is right, though! 'Cause 16dpo and no period is a good combination!!!
Leslie, I'm with you! It changed everything based on one low temp this morning, which I thought would have just meant that AF is coming. My CM doesn't match up, as you said, my coverline is low, and I have no idea how O day could be a week ahead of what it normally is. That is why I can't understand how this could possibly be right. But in one fell swoop, I went from thinking I was completely out this cycle to now being totally confused and unsure and doubtful of FF. How are we supposed to figure out where to go from here if I do indeed get a BFN? Am I going to ovulate on day 10? 12? 14? 18? Ugh.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I urge the opk's. You can get hundreds online for pennies. And although they aren't foolproof either, if you DO get a nice positive, it is pretty clear that you will ovulate in the next day or 2. Also, it would be good to see what your normal amount of time is between ovulation and your temp rise. I won't mention it again, though, I promise :).
ReplyDeleteI don't really know that much about OPK's, and I guess it's because I didn't realize you could get them for so cheap! Where do you get yours from?
